The all important back up team

Very blessed to have a brilliant support team behind me and they are my parents. (and husband when needed)
Friday Dad came with me to take Alfie to the local EC for skl hire and Alfie worked a real treat. Really bouncy, in a gd way with lots of energy. We even got some lateral work moving forward and sideways in the canter, which felt amazing. Spent a long time in trot to start with as the monster was trying to run away with me a few times but he soon realised I wasn’t giving in. My posture has improved so much and he is no longer pulling me off balance.
I was supposed to be teaching on Sat and on a high from Friday evening was raring to go. Don’t teach very often these days as I am too busy with my boys, but I do cover at the local EC when needed. Unfortunately I had to let them down. I really hate doing that but when you can’t see straight not much you can do but go straight back to bed.
Was hoping to get to my training session on Sunday but had to miss that one as well as, I still wasn’t right
So annoying how Migraines just hit you without warning and the after effects can stay with you for days depending on their severity.
Luckily if I do wake up suddenly feeling like the world is hammering into my head I can reach for the phone and text dad a simple line e.g. not well. I can then roll over and try to get better and not worry about the boys as I know they are in good hands
Managed to get to work today, still a little dizzy but upright, Mucked out as much as I could before work and just got a message from dad to say he has finished the stables off for me so all I have to do is feeds… What a wicked back up team I have.
Problem is I am now looking outside and yes it’s raining but its day light and that’s very precious at the moment. I now have to wait till the weekend before I can exercise the boys. That means the Ginger Ninja will have had a two week break… eeeekkkk hope he is feeling in a ploddy mood on Saturday and fingers crossed I have my full balance back.
